5 Ways To Make Your Self Happy
The key towards making your self happier is taking control of your emotions.
1. Smile In The Mirror
Check yourself out in the mirror. Smile, dance, make a funny face. Whatever you choose to do, have fun doing it. You may notice how uncomfortable you may feel at first and now you can use that towards a step in gaining confidence in who you are.
2. Meditate Somewhere
There is a huge misconception with needing the perfect environment for mediation. There is saying if you can not meditate in a boiler room then you can not mediate anywhere. You can practice meditation anywhere by simply practicing mindfulness. Pay attention to your surroundings and ask yourselves questions.
3. Go To Bed Earlier
On average the human body needs 8 hours of sleep. This means you may need less or more sleep then the average human being. Count how many hours of sleep you are getting a week and take into account how this may or may not be affecting you energy levels.
4. Practice Affirmations
Having a motto really helps me get through a rough day. "Akunna Matata", "Do what makes me happy", and "I am responsible for my own energy" all are great mottos to take on your day. Try one one this week.
5. Practice Safe Sex
Either with yourself or your partner, practicing safe sex is a natural desire we can not ignore. Post sex your brain releases dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for the transmitting of neurons for the release of pleasure and reward...basically this makes you very happy.
