What Is Love?
What is love? Is it that warm comfortable feeling you get when you are surrounded by those you have known the longest. Or maybe, it is just a word that naturally forms around our lips when we want to express pure compassion and desire to those we hold most dear to our hearts. In what sometimes feels so right, so familiar and something so big... it can also feel so small and hard to find. Lost in the current we are looking for something we think we felt before and perhaps, something we are just longing to experience. I know my mother loves me and I do know that I sometimes love myself. There is so many variations of what the word LOVE actually means. I used the word “and” several times to support the multiple expressions it can have.
Is it tangible?
is it infinite?
is it created or does it already exist?
Sometimes the most complex answer is really a matter of simplicity. It's everything.
Love is tall and love is wide. Love is great and love is awe. Love is anger and love is fear. Love is freedom and love is you.
Loving yourself can be a challenge for everyone. We commit to being a better human being than compared to yesterday, yet we still choose to diminish the person we were then. striking ourselves by creating an image that we must be more establishes the idea that we are never good enough.
So remember, love is always around you. It is the frustration you feel when you desire more. It is the insanity you create when you don’t understand. It is the comfort you feel when you know everything happens for a reason. It is the choice you make when you choose to be happy, and forever it will be all of you.
