Motivation Monday: Good Habits

Motivation Monday is the perfect day of the week for encouraging positivity and goal setting because, well, Monday can be tough!

We work hard during our, sometimes extra, long weekdays so that we can enjoy that direct deposit and invest in what will bring us security.

Weekends can be bingeful (if not more power to you!). In reaction to a full weekend of releasing excitement, security, and joy we are then exposed back to Monday, a day where we feel forced conform and restart again.

I inspire you to start investing in good habits which can feed your soul into the weekend and back into, dare I say? [cue the thunderstorms and lightning] ... MONDAY! 

Oh and please, choose to believe that you're powerful and capable of starting a good habits small and progressing towards growth. Our brains are wired to get better the more we do something. The first time is always going to be hard but sequentially your habits will get easier.

My suggestions to start:

  • One or five minute meditation once a day.
  • 10 pushups once a day
  • Log your mood once a day

Individually or collectively, you can feed your soul with something good for as long as you want.
