Motivation Monday: Never Give Up
Mondays, they can actually be pretty easy.
Getting stuck in thoughts about how much I don't want to do a task (especially a Monday task) is easy because I'm creating an experience in my mind of how easy my life would be to NOT DO SOMETHING.
"Hmmm, if I could avoid going up these escalators I'll be fine and instead turn around," thought the man in the gif.
"Hmmm, if only you remembered the escalator runs the same 365 days a year," thought the elevator.
No matter which Monday of the week, or for that matter which day of the week you find yourself in, get out of bed and start the basics.
- Get up out of your comfortable routine and set a new intention.
- Dress up for every occasion and get excited about you looking your best!
- Let excitement and compassion that YOU are enough to be your motivation for the week.
Fear is not your friend and most certainly not the one who says in your thoughts, "You do this every week, you got this!" Fear is afraid of risks and believes you are going to make better decisions by avoiding feelings, life, opportunities, and conversations.
